Superbrace Customers Feedback

Motorcycle Trailer.com follows up every Superbrace sale with live e-mail (not auto responder) to be sure that our customers get what they ordered, when they ordered it.

The following quotes are taken directly from customer's e-mail about their order.

1. Ordered the Superbrace in March 99. He's from Northern California, rides a Kawasaki KLR 650. Quote:

Had no problems ordering and received the brace promptly. The brace is really nice quality..a little on the porky side though, I didn't like adding 2.5 pounds of unsprung weight to the front wheel but what are you going to do.

I installed the brace yesterday and WOW, big difference. You can feel the difference just going down the road and wiggling the bars, it used to just keep going straight, now every input gets a response. You don't realize how much a tall fork like a KLR's flexes until you put a brace on it. No binding of the fork either, this thing really fits well. Thanks for the follow up

Sincerely,
Bryan D.
2. Chris is another KLR 650 rider from Oakland, California. He added his Superbrace in May 1999

You're welcome!
I thought the service and customer support of MotorcycleTrailer.com were first rate! I got the product in just a few days after ordering it, and it fits and works as advertised. I'l be going from Oakland CA to Moab UT at the end of the month on my KLR with the superbrace on it. There I will be meeting up with hopefully over 100 other KLR riders from the KLR mailing list. I'll be sure to let everyone know how well (or not) the thing works and where I got it.
Cheers!
Chris

3. May 1999 At Last, a tour bike rider sent e-mail on the superbrace!!!

The following e-mail came from a Yamaha Venture rider who did his on line research on the Superbrace before buying it. This is what he found and sent to Motorcycletrailer.com
Tom (who sent the copy of the post) was very skeptical about the Superbrace until he found this....

...Greetings, again,
Just came from a Venture site and found this. Thought you might like to read that it has been done and made the owner warm and fuzzy. Here's a copy of the article that I found.

Get That Superbrace! - cra

Last weekend, I picked up my 90 Royale from our local guru, after having brakes replaced all the way around, a new front tire, and a SuperBrace installed...My venture had a considerable amount of wobble at both high and low speed. All bearings checked out ok. I blamed most of the problems on the front tire, which wasnt aging very gracefully, but decided to try the superbrace anyways...WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE! NO wobble or head shake of ANY kind. Took the superbrace back off, reinstalled the factory brace, and some high speed wobble is present again. Looks like the money I payed for it was actually worth it. Put it back on, no wobble again. Just...wow...now THIS was the bike I thought it was supposed to be when i bought it in March with 114k on it..

Went with 3 Wingers up to the Blue Ridge Parkway...kept having to ask when we're going to get out of 3rd gear..(seems the venture wanted to take off and leave them behind in 4th and 5th..)..Had some spare time, since I'm on vacation through tomorrow, so we rode the Parkway from boone, to its southern end, turned around, and went north again all the way to its northern end. Great trip, great friends, great weekend, great bike.
Jeff C.
